Complete an application that includes your vocational interests

Participate June 8 -12, 2026 for 5 hours (9am - 2pm) a day prior to employment to learn necessary professional and interpersonal skills for your future career

Additional Classes July 3, 27, 28, 29 9am to 2pm

Attend preliminary meeting(s) with your prospective employer and mentor. Communicate with your mentor at least once a week while in the internship. 

Commit to employment for at least 6 weeks after the Life-Skills Course. (6/15 - 7/24) Employment schedule and pay rate determined by employer 

Notify promptly your employer and mentor if you experience problems at work or if you need assistance

Complete a follow-up evaluation of your experience
